One of the most exciting (yet confusing) themes for many of the PCAP2021 attendees is our Desert Rock Festival theme.
We have put together a helpful guide on the possibilities of what you can wear to this theme however, the beauty of this theme is that anything is possible! The best outfits are all about creating a new identity or playing out a fantasy.
We wanted to give our attendees an opportunity to get creative with their outfits, create some talking pieces to strike up some fun conversation and let their inhibitions go as we settle in for a night of fun.
So now that you know that this theme is kind of an ‘all in…. creativity is in the eye of the beholder’ situation, you might want to know what that ACTUALLY means… we hear ya!
Here are a few things to get your creative juices flowing

A note about cultural appropriation
Podcast-A-Palooza® is an inclusive and supportive event, we want all our attendees to feel safe and comfortable. An important part to this is the understanding that some lifestyle event themes could potentially lend themselves towards cultural misappropriation. We would like to take this moment to remind all our attendees to be respectful and ensure that they dress and act in an appropriate manner. It goes without saying that cultural appropriation will not be tolerated, and we respectfully request that you do not consider items like black/brown face, native headdress, and other items when you are creating your costume.
